At the beginning of August, 13 participants ventured to Juarez Mexico to build a home for a young family with a one year old daughter. Part of our high school youth headed to Colorado on Aug. 3rd. They connected with Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp located near Hillside and venturde on to Mexico via automobile. The group crossed the border on Monday and began building the modest home working alongside the soon-to-be owners. Working Monday through Wednesday for a combined 28 hours, our youth and youth leaders completed the 252 square foot home. It was dedicated on Thursday morning. The youth toured Juarez on Thursday and crossed over into the USA on Friday.
