2005 Objective

To evaluate the leadership structure of GSLC in an effort to identify a structure:

• Appropriate for GSLC congregation size
• Where staff, council, and ministry teams can function optimally

As we develop a living and vital GSLC Leadership structure, the committee agreed to:

• Streamline and flatten the current leadership structure
• Focus on Leadership Development of both staff and lay leaders
• Develop a structure that clearly identifies and communicates roles, responsibilities, and accountability of staff, council, committee chairs, and committee members
• Develop a practical structure that allows members to live out and work the vision.
• Clearly identify functions that would/should be “staff driven” and those that would/should be “lay driven”
