Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has been serving the North Raleigh area since 1983, ministering to its members and friends, and supporting numerous local ministries, as well as the larger outreach of the North Carolina Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
We are in partnership with 240 congregations in North Carolina, 11,023 sister ELCA congregations, 28 Lutheran colleges, eight seminaries, 450 world wide missionaries, Lutheran World Relief, and the 5.2 million member ELCA. Among the organizations we support are Lenoir-Rhyne College, Lutheran Services for the Aging, Pan Lutheran Ministries, Lutheran Family Services, Lutheridge, Lutherock, Agape/Kure Beach Ministries, the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, and Faith Lutheran School in Raleigh.
Our congregation numbers 1150 baptized members, many of whom have come to us from other states and countries as well as from North Carolina.
We offer trained lay counselors from our congregation, known as Stephen Ministers, and our Martha Ministry aids congregation members in need. We invite your partnership with us as we BELIEVE, BELONG, AND SERVE.
