GSLC Members Visit Joy of Discovery Church
Alene Love, Angela Smith, Roxanne Deter, and George Rusincovitch, members of Good Shepherd’s Evangelism team plus Dan Burris, Ann Kuhar, Denny and Sarah Brake, Paul Wendler, and Doug Austin worshipped at Joy of Discovery on Sunday, October 15. We enjoyed a vibrant, meaningful service (that day was also the first of Doug Austin’s monthly musical contributions to Joy’s services), and we shared good food and conversation at the fellowship time afterwards with the very welcoming Joy of Discovery members. On behalf of Good Shepherd’s congregation, Dan Burris presented a check to Pastor Charlene. That contribution is the second installment from the pledges to the Southeast Raleigh Mission, part of our 25th Anniversary Celebration.
